Review: A beautiful girl meets a charming Hyderabadi
Lucknow children and
love blooms amidst the culinary excesses. If
this is what I expect from this
latest offering from Yash Raj Films'd be quite disappointed. Food and places seem to serve just
cut to choose wisely for a story that is very different from what you can expect from
Daawat E Ishq.
And that's the lottery and the weak link in the movie.
A sign indicates the number of deaths dowry in the country in the credits of the film suddenly makes you realize that you really have something much more serious than what might work. It is a dowry death every five minutes, according to the council. Needless to say, the film opens with a scene of a brave Gulrays Qadir (Parineeti Chopra) took a family seeking dowry while his father willingly succumbs to requests.
We have an independent Gulrays of thought, a topper of the state in his twelfth and still works in a shoe showroom, while sales of its own BCOM. His father (played by Anupam Kher) is a worker of the High Court, which is well with the concept of dowry, but not to take bribes. Gulrays course not.
