Review: Samrat Tilakdhari
aka STD (Rajeev Khandelwal) is the desi Sherlock Holmes, famous for its spirit
of brilliant analysis and formidable martial skills. Not someone you insult the
intelligence, it takes only things that are challenging enough.
A desert haveli in Shimla Samrat da what you want - a daunting task for a villain, which may or may not fighting supernatural powers. If threats are horrible murders, Samrat connects the dots to realize that there is more to the puzzle than it seems.
The film is primarily a thriller formulas 'polar' is to be Sherlock Holmes, but ends up looking like parody. This also opens with a clean punch boxing scene in slow motion as Guy Ritchie film (starring Robert Downey Jr.), but fails to instill a sense of fear or anxiety due to excessive dialogue.
Samrat accompanying CD (aka Gopal Datt that Chakradhar Watson) bored with his compulsive talking all too Samrat explain your deduction. In addition, the film is seems too long, because it fits in the sense of a long predictable climax. Rajeev Khandelwal Moreover, everyone is strong. The script lacks punch that Samratisms (one line) are far from intelligent. To make matters worse, evokes a maximum of laughter animated Shimla.
Although courageous conservative Rajshri Productions to make the leap - from family dramas to thrillers, the effort must have been convincing. Although Sherlock Holmes was contemptuous of mediocrity, Samrat succumbs.
