Review: Brick Mansions,
a remake of the French movie District B13 (2004), is special because it is the
role of the late afternoon finishing Paul Walker. Unfortunately, it is one of
his most forgettable movies sleepwalking he hastily made from capers generic action.
Walker, an undercover agent again 'play is not the only actor who look disinterested,
the rapper RZA seems less threatening as a drug lord too.
The film is based solely on the shoulders of the French actor David Belle and Parkour skills. You are required to drool over the uncut opening scene sees Belle (also the founder of Parkour) use the technique by obstacles. He runs, climbs, swings, jumps, rollers and headed down the stairs, through the windows, through the ceiling, almost anything for a trip in any way. It is his experience that keeps you hooked, does not look good for Walker or emotional connection.
However, it is not only not the fault of Walker. The plot is incredibly imaginative. No time or thought is invested in the establishment or development of the characters of the story. As a result, feels indifferent to the police, the bad, his accomplices, etc., without accumulation, back-story or logic, the whole battle of good v / s the crime and corruption seems inconsistent.
The film has a message in the kernel, but the execution is too simplistic with actors pretending they were not paid. Action fans can see still continues Parkour infusion. All fans of Paul Walker, stick to place Fast & Furious.
