Review:  Mithilesh Kumar Srivastav aka Natwarlal have by far one of the most interesting people probably lived in India. A person who could sell the Taj Mahal and the Parliament would not have been a regular guy!

While making a biopic, Kunal Deshmukh pays his own tribute to the legend of Natwarlal fraud and Victor Lustig, the man who sold the Eiffel Tower! It names of the main characters, played by Paresh Rawal Emraan Hashmi and after these two crooks real life.

If the film is as interesting as the icons crooks is another matter.

Raja in his element Natwarlal is a revenge drama. A fraudster and his friend Rob Rs 80 lakh a big fish. The friend is pushed and decides to avenge the crook. Raja (Emraan Hashmi) lands in a small town in Himachal Pradesh with the legendary Yogi crook (Paresh Rawal) used to operate under the name "Victor Singh Khan" before settling on a style retired life. Together they plot to the big fish Vardha Yadav (Kay Kay) in a mousetrap cheese and infirm typical stuff. they go to a sale of nonexistent cricket team to a cricket fanatic!

The premise is promising and has everything a 'masala' entertainer could be decent. Yet Natwarlal Raja deficit. With a lame script, the movie is not half as smart as manufacturers think it's likely. As painfully loses humor that usually lights up with a movie.

The film is surprising and provides exactly what the public expects to occur. Even the last moment "surprise" not to entertain.

Even bigger problem is the romantic angle between Emraan Hashmi and Humaina Mallik. The actress fails to impress. Worse love story, the music is supposed to Evolve is disastrous. The fable of the Emraan Hashmi always movies with fantastic music seems to die. Heck, I saw this movie on a screen and not find people whistling as they do during the romantic scenes in other movies Emraan Hashmi! Tragic lack of chemistry!

Highlights of Raja Natwarlal will not happen with the plan, but the performance is. It's always a pleasure to see actors like Paresh Rawal and Kay Kay. The later, in particular, has virtually no good games in the most time. Mohammad Ayoub Zeesha is lost! Emraan Hashmi, with his usual arrogance is good, as always.

Natwarlal Raja shorter film would have been if I had not much time wasted novel non-event. Probably more focused on adding finesse for the flight could take this film is of superior quality. It's not cold enough a con movie, after watching movies like 26 Star in the recent past. An attempt to create a "ka Naya India Natwarlal" had to be smarter, if not the original icon is insulting!
