Review:  Time of confession. Months ago Colours of Passion Vi, when
the film was shown several
interested buyers. The director was naturally eager
holding the film for so long. I must tell you that it is not easy for a filmmaker to cling to film for so
long. Especially when you know
you have a story to come. Secretly, since then, I
wanted to find the movie on the
screen, sooner rather than later. Not only because I identified with the manager, but because
he believed in history ... and
how it is said.
Raja Ravi Varma, have come to understand, is not just the name that appears when we talk about Indian art. The 19th century has passed away far too long before the media could create in him a feeling. The fact that it faces the gods and goddesses, who gave such an important part of the agenda today is remarkable. And for an artist to the spirit of his work, which extends to people of all strata, by the mass reproduction is something that most of us are wondering could leave. The contribution of Raja Ravi Varma transcends beyond the scope of their work. And that's what this film shows. First, I had absolutely no idea of his immense contribution to Indian cinema ... a film about the man who became the first Indian film can is important.
Colours of Passion story begins in a courtroom where the protagonist is on trial for his amoral. He is accused of having feelings hurt Hindu gods and goddesses giving a face. The story is a flashback to the life of the artist, revealing his work and his love story.
Colours of Passion is not a masterpiece, but it has its elements in their safe place. Anil Mehta Cinematography makes each dazzling scene. Ketan Mehta makes adjustments is as authentic as possible. And fortunately, the film does not seem dated. The players support the director's vision by placing a beautiful act. Randeep Hooda monster that has always been so bright, but only recently agreed. (This film was originally to be released in 2007, which is long for Randeep has become the star she is today). Nandana Sen said uninhibited impede the tasks. Paresh Rawal, Darshan Jariwala, Sachin Khedekar and the rest of the distribution on the ground.
However, you want the script remained strong. The removal of some scenes, especially those with an uncomfortable amount of nudity, you'd probably helped the film.
Irrespective of fault Colours of Passion is a piece of the film could be seen. This will be one of the most deserving biopics in an industry that suddenly trying to make films in almost everyone. Colours of Passion is in a league of its own, meaningful and relevant than a century after the man disappeared.
