Review: Embarrassment that I made a call to one
of my best friends. Well,
I expect a reasonable film if not good. The film Govinda,
one of my favorite.Ay!
So yes, I call my friend to share how I was disappointed. He could not understand my pain. Then he asked me what the story is. I said. "Two boys raised by a gift, grow up to be shooters Then one of them falls in love and wants to leave the company, the gift does not like .." I did not need to talk more. My friend replied, "Well, the same story we've seen 4850 times before '!
This statement says it all probable. Kill Dil is a story we've seen so many times now that he could not entertain. Yet stereotypical stories sometimes works, but just the way you said is unique. Unfortunately, the return of Shaad Ali to management after seven long years is not very attractive as he may have thought it was.
Kill Dil does not start well. There are regular dose of humor that entertain me for a while. But once you start asking you for a reason to see the same story again if you remain unexplained.
Here's a likely reason - the action styled with bromance and offers a very attractive girl. How does it work? Nah?
However, there is a stage which is quite watchable. Alok a 'Babuji' Nath interview a good boy Champ newly transformed into a path of a life insurance agent. In the background is a picture of Nirupa 'Maa Roy Deewar on the wall. It's quirky humor and probably about the film in a larger context - a salvation to the good old 70s and 80s.
Kill Dill could have excited producers to design. If an entire film has a very visible field and Parineeti Chopra. And only works the other limp mode a movie. Ali Zafar is good, but does not add much. Even with Govinda. He still has the ability to illuminate the screen, but was defeated by a character who just does not match the promise.
Dil To Kill only see if you are a fan of one of the actors.
