Review:
War is a terrible, terrible thing.
War films, on the other hand, tend to take care of a great (if a little
generic) display. Two films that appear in your mind when you think of this kind
are Saving Private Ryan and The Hurt Locker. Fury is similar to the other two,
and many war films, in some respects, but it's another piece of film in many
others.
The film follows Don Collier aka "Ward Addy" (Brad Pitt), while leading his platoon on a tour of murder behind enemy lines in Nazi Germany during the Second World War. His team is accompanied by a fresh faced rookie Norman Ellison (Logan Lerman), who was moved to write a job as a clerk. Overall, taking the soldiers of the enemy of your tank called Fury army.
Fury has more or less the same things to say about the war, how it changes how you became a man, how is his responsibility to his country to kill people. The inside of a tank is like a house
soldiers. As rightly said character, the war is not good or bad, is to kill your enemies before they kill you. But where the graph of the film differs from the others in his dark, while not expected, not taking prisoners approach in the representation of corruptions are betting otherwise good people at war.
Not hesitate to bloodshed. In fact, the film will make your stomach churn seeing dead carried around like sacks of grain or soldiers commit suicide rather than commit captured by his enemies. Other soldiers are "dumpling" of a character. But instead of being discouraged by the number of dead or logic undoubtedly pay soldiers team, you identify with the characters as they say a tear for his comrades or stories about the horrors they committed they still haunt lost.
General Games Humor offset a role in these movies the dark atmosphere, but the fury provides little comic relief to seeing you at the cruelty of war. And consistency of your work for the film, because they remain paralyzed scene after scene tanks against each other, buildings exploding, bullets and bodies accumulate tens.
The only time during the 134 minutes of time feel that the film tries too hard in the first half of a long series in which two German women who just do not come off convincingly that he waited director David Ayer .
Other than that, David Ayer did a fantastic job of directing the film. There are many sequences that are treated in a manner that reflects a remarkable clarity of thought and skills of your hand. It builds camaraderie among the crew Fury (tank) provided less obviously, and it makes you root for the main characters, but they are fundamentally ruthless killers. Although you know from the start how likely finish the film, Ayer set the highest point of the other so well forgiven for their predictability.
Brad Pitt is very impressive in the role of Addie Ward, head of the group that has a hard exterior, but also has its moments of weakness that manages the front of the peloton to keep bottled. Pitt manages to get the film on his shoulders with his ferocious act. Shia LaBeouf, out of all its theatricality of the screen does a great job as singing the Bible, but otherwise silent Boyd Swan. He manages to bring a lot through their eyes and expressions.
Logan Lerman is fascinating that Norman Ellison, the rookie who realizes that he is in over his head. This is pretty much the epitome of moral dilemma of the film and manages to skillfully take that responsibility. Michael Peña and Jon Bernthal the rest of the crew of the Fury, and add a lot of life to the proceedings as soldiers were morally relevant to the war but are still engaged in his duty to his country.
Despite his long life, never once looking at his watch impatiently, which is a great achievement for the film. It keeps you emotionally involved with the fate of his characters, which keeps you hooked until the end and sobering when you leave the theater. Add to that a great performance and a number of action scenes badass tanks, and there is a good time to be held this weekend in a cinema near you.
