Review:
No good deed goes unpunished. When
Christopher Nolan Batman Begins did in 2005 (and later, The Dark Knight in
2008), he did not know that the Pandora's box that would have a dramatic effect
was opening. He revolutionized the mega-blockbuster movie style, so it's a
dark, cool and edgy.
A few years later, hardly anyone can be called / herself imitating a pilot follows that the formula has been increasingly successful. The exercise in style this week is called Dracula Untold, which fights for the history of the origin of Dracula (another trend started by Nolan used a disturbing number of times recently) say.
Instead of focusing on the immortality of the nature and subsequent incidents were treated iconic Bram Stoker's novel, the film weaves a story about how he was a vampire, first, generous loan of former leader Vlad the Impaler and around the tower.
Opening mounting an impressive film gives the background story of the Turks and his government, while visually stunning. It's all downhill from there. Quickly realize that although almost all fictionalization of history of the origin, the film hardly a story to tell. It's just an excuse to kick explosions in the face a lot.
But the biggest problem with the film is that it's a twist. Although the explosions are very cool, so coldly by other films. Each sequence of action "inspired" by better films (most) summer. The order of action arranged approximately one half of the road is a copy of a film that defines the smooth action, Matrix. The final battle is like 300 (the whole movie is like 300). The drama in the medium can be taken from The Vampire Diaries.
To be fair, however, is a decent mix of part (usually) better films. While it can be said that the director and writers one original thought to make this film, which monitors had bye, though. Never research exit doors in an attempt to open it to get the power of your prayers.
Intervals, management seems more amateur smoking ads before the movie. The writers probably pay to the producers referred a lot of money to have their names (authors win for everyone). Ramin Djawadi excels with background music, though.
Luke Evans is moderate to define the role of Count Dracula. Dominic Cooper, and the one that impressed with his mature performance in Double The devil is in the movie just for the money. Even a mention of other actors would have a greater compliment than they earn.
Ultimately, the film is not bad enough to give you a headache, it is not good enough to warrant a watch. It ends with a setup for a sequel, actually say "haha, will come back, suckers!". Production companies are used to distribute sequels until you've sucked (vampire pun). You can stop your contribution to evil (film) companies not to go for this film and stay at home to make a DVD template instead.
