Review: Mia is a cellist who one fateful day, the victim of a
tragic and fatal car accident. With her family, she is on her way to visit
friends. On the road, the car hit a patch of ice on the road and skids out of
control. The ambulance arrived at the scene and quickly passed in the treatment
of victims. Meanwhile, the perspective changes in a disoriented Mia, Dazed and
Confused, trying to understand what is going on?
With nowhere to go, we see her in the ambulance made its way to the hospital, where he was transferred to the intensive care unit. In addition to continuing the fight for his life in the physical world, she faces up to - literally - life changing decisions and choices that belie his age.
Many of his thoughts and emotions reside in the band with his partner Adam (Blackley) divided. It is this aspect of the film that avoid too heavy. In fact, their shared equation in flashback covers much of the emotional appeal of the film.
Moretz manages to make some of the delicate and bittersweet nuances of love and romance with a term that prevents the film from becoming a sob-fest. Therefore, the story moves at a rapid pace.
However, it seems a little hard are fluctuating mind images of Mia in the corridors of the hospital, as if Cutler tries to make the point that they are in fact no body parts to focus on the space with the living. Mireille Enos and Joshua Leonard play their supporting roles with fingering. Stacy Keach, who plays the grandfather of Mia, also offers some of the most tender moments in this touching film.
