Review: The classification of "Vampire Academy" in some kind, would make justice to the film. It
consists partly of paranormal romance, drama
of high school, part
of the action adventure adolescent and part coming
of age stories
are woven into a generic vampire story foreseeable at the Academy of St. Vladimir.
The Academy, a style very Hogwartisian Institute cultivates Montana Moroi, the Strigoi, the dhampir and people. The Moroi are mortal vampires of a noble race who practice magic. They depend on human blood for food and have a code, society, ethics, and the higher education system of all kinds.
The Strigoi are the opposite of the Moroi. Are the bad vampires are all familiar. The Dhampir is half vampire and half human, protecting their masters Moroi Strigoi threat.
The film begins in a very cliché way; a group of teenagers excited openly encouraged and speeding in the car and a voice said: "Less than a year when we are away from the academy, the will to live as normal people" suddenly there is a collision front, a terrible accident on the road.
The following is Rosemarie Hathaway (Zoey Deutch) and Lissa Dragomir (Lucy Fry) were caught by other vampires and returned to St. Vladimir towed.
Lissa is the last of Dragomir, heir to the throne of the Moroi family and best friend Rose and classmate at the academy. His absence at the academy would not be tolerated if it would succeed Queen Tatiana (Joely Richardson).
Rose is a dhampir guardian whose only function is to protect Lissa danger. In the heart of the story.
The subplot involves the two of them trying to decide what they want nice boy beaten all rivals and treated with disturbing conspiracy signs. The whole track is so reminiscent aTwilight films like "and aHarry Potter '.
The story so appealing, drag a bit in the middle, with a number of persistent individual scenes a little too long as necessary.
Interpersonal common underlying between the two protagonists are certainly compelling, Zoey Deutch hook and Rose. This character is a challenge and with his charisma to the handle.
The performance of the rest of the cast made a mark on the back of your mind. And the student has all the excitement and disposable.
The screenplay by Daniel Waters novels based on Richelle Mead is light, bubbly and very devoid of hooks. The dialogues are full of jargon verbose and difficult to follow, especially in explaining the complex mythology.
The quality of the production, including staging, sound and lighting directional and cinematography, as well as sonic technology contributions are excellent, but often experience. Building the atmospheric effect change unintentionally scary, funny or suggestive.
In general, Vampire Academy 'director Mark Waters has its moments but has little to offer in terms of humor, cunning, deception or novelty might be expected in a vampire movie. But it is sure to satisfy the fans only the original material.
