Review:
There are movies that great idea and
good intentions behind them, but were defeated in terms of implementation. And
then there are those movies that are supported by mediocre ideas and bad
intentions, but they manage to do well on the basis of a great performance.
This film belongs to the first category.
Sex Tape is a film that is as literal as its name. It is literally just running around town trying to prevent people from seeing your sex video they made when they were drunk. Sex Tape is made with the same amount of creativity that was necessary to his name, which is almost getting next to nothing.
Miss. Taking the old story of a couple who stopped sex after marriage and children, and turning an adult comedy of the new era and a treasure hunt. A decent intentions. Even starts very well, establishing a life without sex as both excellent partner Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz lived and how they are desperate to get out of this rut in their marriage. So they decide to make a sex tape. All goes well until people save iPads wrong gift ribbon on them. All hell breaks loose.
There are some great episodes, including a wide range instead of Rob Lowe. The scene itself is not so nice, unless a hound is your kind of humor, in this case, the scene is hilarious. It's the talent that we see in this particular order, that makes you laugh. This particular scene is also the last part of the fun you'll have to watch the movie. The graphic film then moves continuously downward.
While the film is to find people on the receiving end of their generosity and take their iPads behind them, the film seems harmless fun. Some jokes in a vacuum, which is sufficient to maintain the momentum transferred. They are more than you finally discover he sent mysterious texts that the film tries to be what it is not: a touching romantic comedy advise the relationship. The film eventually ends in a final absolute comfort and ingenuity.
An experienced driver could the graphic film at a constant height, if not into a complete upper pattern. But Jake Kasdan is not the man for the job. Instead of accepting the absurdity of the entire lot, which the film is entirely predictable. You know what's coming you better back of the hand.
But after all, what the film above the water is the comedic timing and chemistry between the two protagonists. Cameron Diaz is so charming and enjoyable than ever. In addition, its role is probably more in your wheelhouse to play themselves were in the film. Scores Jason Segel point tolerant with his performance, but lost a lot of points as co-writer of the film that maintaining the account is useless. Special shows Rob Lowe, Rob Corddry and Jack Black as expenses, although good fillings.
Ultimately, the film never manages to get into the groove and fun end prematurely (set of sex words). It leaves you feeling cheated. You did nothing to deserve this. This is a film that is better not to see.
