Review: For the uninitiated, "Jack Ryan" is
a famous spy entity created by writer Tom
Clancy has fascinated and captivated Hollywood over the years. But unlike fresh and trendy James Bond, Jack never reached the popularity it deserves, because it probably shy introverted geek.
"The Ryan Initiative" is the fifth edition of this franchise after "The Hunt
Red October, "" Patriot Games "," Clear and Present Danger "and" The Sum of All Fears. "
Risen fourteen years after he was last seen on the screen, director Kenneth Branagh Jack Ryan as someone reinvents modern thoughts, agile and aggressive.
In the world of Branagh, Jack Ryan Peter student at the London School of Economics has been bitten by the bug patriotic American tragedy after September 11. He returned to join the armed forces.
Eighteen months later, on a mission in Afghanistan, Lt. Ryan suffered an injury of the spinal cord caused by a tragedy in flight.
Eight months later, after a battle physiotherapy success under strict medical supervision Cathy Ryan is again able to resume normal functions. Given that over a period of time that is in love with his physiotherapist.
After noticing a strong analytical ability Commander William Harper Ryan pushing him, "If you still want to serve your country, you can still do" Soon Ryan worked as a financial analyst at a Wall Street firm and clear. moon FIU modern CIA.
As part of their work, Ryan stumbles on a plot of Russia collapsing the US economy. So he went to Russia to face Victor capitalist Cherevin.
Meanwhile, in the belief Ryan has an affair, Cathy arrives in Moscow to surprise and instead launched against Victor that are rich in "Vodka, vanity and women." That's when the story is interesting and exciting.
Chris Pine as Jack Ryan is cute and adorable. He brings a vividness of the character and it delivers. Unfortunately, this is the script that does justice to its graphical nature. How a man who has recently recovered from an injury to the spinal cord can beat a strong man and excel in the blinking frequency of action and fight scenes with ease. Exaggeration!
Chris is strongly supported by the outstanding performances of its actors colleagues; Kevin Costner as Harper commander Keira Kinghtley his love interest Cathy and Kenneth Branagh as thin lips, Russian villain. Kenneth is sweet and makes the fanatic Cherevin with understated ease. Unfortunately, it is not at all threatening.
As director, Branagh can not deliver. The screenplay, written by David Koepp and Adam Cozad, seems galore day and holes in the plot. The film is full of uneven pace, unrealistic and incredible graphics characters. The worst thing is the bad dialogue and a weak villain.
In addition, the action set pieces are generic, predictable and forgettable. The camera work lack of style and imagination.
